With the offshore floating wind market increasing in size and production, Stigterstaal has invested heavily in grades which are commonly used in these constructions.

A huge part of our stock contains plates in VLD36, VLE36 and even VLF36, with thicknesses ranging up to 250mm in various stock dimensions amongst others to reduce scrap level.

All materials are including 3.2 DNV certification and are produced according to the DNVGL-OS-B101 (Offshore) standard.

In case additional testing for instance Ultra sonic, CTOD or others are required this can also be executed by independent laboratories.
